Many tracks have been specially commissioned for the album, which includes performances by Cara Dillon, Brooks Williams, Duffy Power, Jan Akkerman (Focus), Bert Jansch, Martyn Joseph, Steve Ashley, Colin Reid, Fairport Convention, Andy Irvine and Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull). 

Wildcards on the release include Roy Harper (with a spoken word rendition of Lewis Carroll's ‘Jabberwocky’) and rock act Leafhound with a cut from their 1970 cult release 'Growers Of Mushrooms'!
